Optima Systems Inc, formally known as Uniwell North America, is an International Provider for POS Equipment. Founded in Canada in 1970, OSI today, with over 50 years in business experience, is the manufacturer of the GoPOS Software which is embedded into quality Android POS Terminals known as the Optima APOS series.

Why did you join RSPA?
Back when we were Uniwell North America, we had join ICRDA which today is known as RSPA. With being a Member/Vendor of ICRDA at that time, it help introduce us to dealer /resellers across Canada, USA and Mexico which eventually grew to having over 450 active Uniwell dealers. Now rejoining RSPA, we are hoping for similar results with our new APOS line of products.
What are the core values of your company?
As a family business, our father David Lee (President of OSI) back over 50 years ago when he was with NCR, was taught a phrase “We cannot afford to have one unsatisfied customer”. Today this is still our company’s moto! Provide great support, great products and always be honest.
What verticals do you serve?
The APOS Series was specially designed for the small to mid-size customers in mind and for any application where you pre-pay at the counter (Convenience stores, Fast Food, Food Trucks, Cafeterias, Flower Shops and General Retail). There will be a second version with table and account tracking that will be available towards the end of the 3rd quarter for smaller restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.
What products/services do you provide?
Quality Android based Touchscreen terminals which is driven by our GoPos software offering a true plug-in-play out of the box solution with very competitive pricing and no monthly fees. This is known as the Optima APOS Series.
Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
Work hard and have fun! We had several Dealer Incentive trips with our largest trip in Barbados, with over 85 dealers. Ask any dealer who attended how was the Rum Punch! (If they could remember).
