Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
When we look at Video commerce space, we had the vision that user should never have to leave where they are to shop. Shop should be brought to them. The space was booming and yet, everyone had the same playbook, push user to a shopping experience, get them out of the content. So, we started to build in video checkout. The fun fact is that as we built we understood why no one is doing it. It’s a very hard problem to solve. In insights we’re glad we did and we’re glad we didn’t know how hard it would be 😊
What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
It’s all about trust. Video is a great way to entertain viewers and build trust. By making it shoppable you’re reducing the friction. Technology is ready for those types of interaction.
Shoppers are changing their behaviors. Search-based behavior used to be the dominant way we shop digitally (I need something and go on google/ amazon to shop). Now behaviors are moving toward content-based shopping. (I see a content that excite me, I want the same thing)
