Torrance, CA “ Seiko Instruments USA Inc. (SII) Thermal Printer Division, https://www.siiprinters.com, a globally recognized leader in thermal printer technology today announced that it is now offering Bluetooth interface and iOS Software Development Kit (SDK) compatibility as part of its RP-D10 Lite Model Qaliber POS Printer.
In addition to current support of both Android and Windows, the RP-D10 Lite Model printer will now be able to work with devices running the iOS Operating System. Furthermore, the printer’s auto-detection Bluetooth Interface now provides the ability to communicate with a wide range of devices without the need for a wired connection.
Introduced in 2013, the RP-D10 Lite Model printer is known for its ability to offer industry-leading print speeds of approximately 8 inches per second to accelerate transactions or enable users to add coupons or loyalty program information. With the smallest footprint in its class, and an innovative cube design, the RP-D10 printer is designed to help free up valuable real estate at the point-of-sale location. A choice of standard and front-access control options provides the flexibility to slide a printer under the counter, simplifying integration.
Other important features of the RP-D10 model include exceptional reliability and ease of use. Service life ratings of a minimum of 62 miles of printing and over 1.5 million cuts, using the anti-jamming, heavy-duty auto-cutter, ensure long-life dependability.
“This new addition of Bluetooth technology coupled with the iOS compatibility puts the RP-D10 at the forefront when it comes to speed, size, ease of use and functionality, said Kaz Onishi, Vice President, Seiko Instruments USA. “This is especially important within fast-paced markets such as retail and hospitality, in which this printer is most often used.
