RSPA Expands Vendor Awards of Excellence

“RSPA Retail IT Community Leadership Award” Will Acknowledge Top Industry Supporters

RALEIGH, NC – The Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) will expand its annual Vendor Awards of Excellence program in 2024 with the addition of the RSPA Retail IT Community Leadership Award. The RSPA Retail IT Community Leadership Award will honor RSPA vendor members for exceptional industry support and engagement over the past 12 months.  

All vendor members including hardware manufacturers, software providers, service providers, payment processors, and distributors are eligible for this new award. Winners will be recognized for their support of the RSPA community and retail IT channel based on the following criteria: 

The traditional RSPA Vendor Awards of Excellence by technology category will remain intact. Those longtime VAE awards will remain as the only awards in the retail IT industry where VARs vote for their favorite vendors in six categories: Electronic Payments/Financing, Technology Distributor, Software, Hardware & Software, Hardware Manufacturer, and Reseller Support Services.  

All Vendor Awards of Excellence honorees will be announced at RetailNOW, the RSPA’s annual summer trade show, education conference, and networking event. RetailNOW 2024, scheduled for July 28-30 at Paris Las Vegas, expects to attract 1,600+ attendees and 170+ exhibitors.

  • Hardware Manufacturer: Gold – Touch Dynamic; Silver – Epson; Bronze – Pax; Honorable Mention – Star Micronics, WTI Wireless 
  • Hardware & Software: Gold – CRS; Silver – Heartland; Bronze – Toshiba
