CHARLOTTE, NC – The RSPA (Retail Solutions Providers Association) has a history of supporting local charities through the Community Giveback program at its in-person events. For RetailNOW 2021, the RSPA’s annual trade show and conference scheduled for July 25-27 in Nashville, attendees will raise funds for the Nashville Rescue Mission, a non-profit committed to helping the hungry, homeless, and hurting in Tennessee. The Nashville area has been affected not only by the COVID crisis but recently by a flood and tornadoes, increasing the need for assistance.
For every 100 people who register for RetailNOW between April 21 and May 12, the RSPA will donate $1,000 to the Nashville Rescue Mission. If 300 people register, the Nashville Rescue Mission will receive $3,000. If 1,000 people register by May 12, the Nashville Rescue Mission will receive a $10,000 donation from the RSPA community.
Executives who plan to attend RetailNOW are encouraged to register today to receive the early bird registration discount, save their seat at the retail IT channel’s #1 event, and help a great cause like the Nashville Rescue Mission. Assisting the Nashville Rescue Mission was suggested by Blake Gillum and Travis Hare of RSPA member DCR Point of Sale Systems in Nashville.
“Why wait? Let’s send that message together,” said RSPA President and CEO John Kirk. “We are going to help others as our community leads the way with a strong comeback. The RSPA members and attendees will be an example as we lead the way together. It’s our time to be who we are.”
RetailNOW 2021 is expected to be a coming out party for the retail IT channel – the first industry-wide event in 18+ months. VARs, ISVs, and vendors are ready (and excited) to travel in Q3 which could make this the biggest RetailNOW ever with an expected 2,000+ attendees and 160+ show floor exhibitors.
COVID-19 prevented RetailNOW 2020 from occurring, but RetailNOW 2021 in Nashville will offer everything attendees have come to expect from the RSPA – plus several new features including:
- Expanded education tracks touching more functional areas of your business with a focus on the restaurant, retail, and grocery verticals
- New voices in our industry: Markets adjacent to point of sale will inject cutting-edge VARs and software developers who will talk contactless payments, cybersecurity, IoT, AI, 5G, mobility, virtual kitchens, online ordering, edge computing, robotics, and cloud technologies, creating a vibrant show floor environment
- Exclusive, in-depth conversations about channel challenges for 2021 and beyond
- Incentives for vendors to co-host their unique partner gatherings as an extension of RetailNOW, reducing costs and expanding the benefits for their attendees and community
