CHARLOTTE, NC – The RSPA (Retail Solutions Providers Association) announced today they will participate in Engage Again, a virtual conference presented by automatic identification and mobility association AIM and RAIN, a global alliance promoting the universal adoption of RFID technology. Engage Again will take place online May 5-6.
To serve its IT reseller and software developer members, the RSPA has embraced technologies adjacent to traditional point of sale systems. Among the newest RSPA member companies are providers of cybersecurity, AI, cloud services, cashierless checkouts, analytics, grocery e-commerce, virtual kitchens, hot spot delivery, reservation management, payment processing, pay-at-the-table, cash management, off-premise ordering, labor management, power solutions, post-purchase marketing, and more. Many of these new members will create a more vibrant show floor environment at the RSPA’s annual show and conference, RetailNOW 2021, scheduled for July 25-27 in Nashville.
“The unique marketplace created at RetailNOW connects our members and attendees with who they are looking for as they fuel success in the retail marketplace on main street,” said RSPA President and CEO John Kirk. “The right partnership, alliance, or solution can ignite the growth trajectory of an organization’s path. These connections happen every day in the RSPA community.”
The RSPA’s Engage Again participation includes the Connections Virtual Platform and a thought leadership presentation on “VAR Opportunities & Challenges in the Cannabis Vertical.” The RSPA Cannabis Community has witnessed firsthand the collision between the complex, fast-growing cannabis vertical and the IT channel. The RSPA’s Jim Roddy will help Engage Again attendees make sense of the opportunities and challenges in the ever-changing cannabis market by sharing insights, best practices, and pitfalls learned by the RSPA Cannabis Community over the past six months.
Engage Again will bring together speakers, exhibitors, and attendees focusing on the automatic data collection industry, exploring topics that include: access control, AI, anticounterfeiting, barcoding, biometrics, cannabis, consumer engagement, food safety, IoT, logistics, NFC, retail, RFID, robotics, RTLS, supply chain, temperature sensor tracking, tolling/border crossing, and warehousing.
