CHARLOTTE, NC – Because of the COVID-19 crisis, technology vendors will have limited opportunities to market their products and services to retail IT VARs and ISVs for the foreseeable future. In response, the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) today announced the creation of the RSPA Solution Center, an online platform designed to introduce VARs and ISVs to new solutions and connect them with the providers of these solutions.
The RSPA Solution Center is scheduled to be launched June 1. RSPA Vendor Members (manufacturers of hardware, developers of software, payment processors, distributors, consultants, and ISVs) and DISD Members (Direct Independent Software Developers) may showcase products and services in the RSPA Solution Center at no charge through the remainder of 2020.
Any visitor to the RSPA website – even non-members – can view the Solution Center to learn about these new products and services.
“Our mission is to accelerate the success of our members through knowledge and connections,” said RSPA President and CEO John Kirk. “This approach provides our vendors with a platform to tell their story as VARs work to expand their portfolio. We believe this is the most fertile space for knowledge and growth in retail when our members need it most.”
The RSPA Solution Center will feature a categorized list of all participating members. Each company name on that list will link to that organization’s RSPA Solution Center Vendor Hub Page which includes:
- Company description, logo, and social media links
- Contact information
- Key products and services
- Videos
- Links to key pages on the company’s website
- Links to white papers and case studies
The RSPA Solution Center will be promoted through several communication methods including “Vendors You Need to Know” emails to the RSPA community. Additional promotion will take place through RSPA Community Connection newsletters , RSPA Blog posts, RSPA Academy education, RSPA podcasts, video interviews, RSPA social media, and more.
While the Solution Center is a new product, the RSPA is a proven digital marketing success story already as the RSPA Academy continues to lead the way as meaningful education is delivered through creative conduits. The association has established a track record of significant digital engagement with the retail IT community through recent webinars, Retail IT Community Roundtables, the RSPA YouTube Channel, the RSPA Trusted Advisor Podcast, the RSPA Blog, the RSPA Community IQ Resource Center, and the RSPA COVID-19 Crisis Resource Center, featuring RSPA Restaurant Rescue.
“Our association has established the groundwork for a successful digital marketing solution for our members in the retail IT channel,” Kirk said. “The Solution Center will be a continuation of our great community engagement. We will not let the conditions keep our community from playing offense as we focus on our mission.”
