About Mark: Mark Fraker has over 30 years of business management experience and has been active in the RSPA for 18 years, first as a VAR/ISV member, and more recently as a vendor member with BlueStar. He has served on the RSPA's Marketing Committee and is currently the co-chairman of the Vendor Working Group Committee and serves on the Industry Strategy Committee. Prior to BlueStar, Mr. Fraker was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for two Point-of-Sale ISVs providing solutions throughout the Americas. In early 2000, Mr. Fraker joined BlueStar to help manage BlueStar's value-add marketing programs for VARs, and has been the Vice President of Marketing for the past seven years. He leads the company's global marketing strategies including BlueStar's VARCOM program, and is responsible for public relations, product marketing, and vendor relationship management. Also prior to BlueStar, he was a business owner for nine hospitality and retail locations, as well as a wholesale food manufacturing company. During his stint as a restaurateur, he also was involved with the distribution of DART POS in the Northern Midwest States. Mr. Fraker has served on the Michigan Restaurant Association Board of Directors, President of the Oakland County of Michigan Licensed Beverage Association, co-event planner for 1980 GOP "Taste of Michigan Reception," and President Ronald Reagan's 1981 "Taste of America" Inaugural Ball. He has also been the guest speaker for Michigan State University HRI programs, Oakland Community College Commencement, and the Great Lakes Food Show.
